  1. Homework: Ch. 3&4
    When he was in the grave yard, I think, during the sunrise an idea, thought, or spark, if I will, has come upon him astonishly. He was look at a worm that he saw. That worm was moving around in the head of one of the corpse. He thought to himself that even though he was not a mad scientist. He was so happy that he had discovered the generation and life.

  2. Homework: Chapter 3&4
    He pretty much got the secret from a worm.It was in a place of corpses, perhaps a cemetery, that he was astonished by how the worm was in the corpses. He analyzed the causation. He exemplified that to a change from death to life. Got him more into science.

  6. Homework: Chapter 3 & 4

    Victor discovers the secret of "The cause'of generation and life by studying more how the human body is built. He masters all of his professors that has taught him, and he thinks of going one step ahead which was the secret life. During that time he started to ignore his family and his social life and locked himself in his apartment so no one can see his work of creation. Then he begins to starts to create his creature like it was no ones business. I think he was so obsessed with his work of creation that he didn't care what else was going on in his life which is totally messed up. I wonder how the people in his life felt while he was doing his thing and not paying any attension to other important things, such as his family, friends, and ofcourse Elizabeth. Well I guess we'll have to see in the next few chapters ahead.

    @KG671: Whats your name ? Is it Kyle ? Gera ? lol. Just inform me so i know. Well you didn't give much info. on the question above. But thats alright... I like how you enjoyed reading the chapter and how good it was to you :)
    Oh and I also agree that Victor is gonna be a madman.

  9. Homework: Chapters 3&4
    This is Pierre.
    He was wandering through the corpse infested location when he saw a worm making its way through the skull of a man through the eyes. That appeared to be the trigger to his obsessive pursuit of knowledge that would fill even the necronomicon. Such studies of the human anatomy lead him to start thinking of his idea of re-animation of dead corpses. However, he was still in search of a proper catalyst for such an experiment and of course for a perfect specimen to even attempt it.

    @Timothy: Even though most people view him as a "Mad Scientist", I view him more as a very curious intellectual. He thought of such possibilities and with his great knowledge, turned it into a reality via his own hand and a push from nature.

  10. homework: chapters 3&4

    Victor was at a cemetary, or a place to view bodies. He saw a worm in a corpse's head. He then thinks to himself about Life and Death. Then he began to tried to devote himself towards it.

    @kg671

  11. Homework: Chapter 3 & 4
    Victor just looked at a worm on a corpse and began thinking. He thought of the change from life to death and from death to life. His next thought was that instead of the usual science, he would discover something greater. So day and night, he looked for the cause of generation and life. And, all this research had been inspired from one small worm.

  15. Homework 3&4 !

    Victor first observed a worn in a churchyard. This sparked his idea of “the cause of generation and life”. As quoted from the book " I paused, examining and analysing all the minutiae of causation, as exemplified in the change from life to death, and death to life, until from the midst of this darkness a sudden light broke in upon me -- a light so brilliant and wondrous, yet so simple, that while I became dizzy with the immensity of the prospect which it illustrated, I was surprised, that among so many men of genius who had directed their inquiries towards the same science, that I alone should be reserved to discover so astonishing a secret." Victor became consumed in this idea. And thought himself great for discovering it.

    @francine pretty spot on ! :)
