How does Victor react when his creation comes to life? Explain your feelings about his reaction to his creation. Were you surprised? Why or why not?
Homework: Ch.5
ReplyDeleteVictor was frightened from his own creation. It seemed like he wished he did not want to create it in the frist place. My feelings upon him were: "Why are you scared!?", "Really? It was your idea.", and etc. I was only astonished that he was scared but what do you expect from a person who made a creature out of corpses.
I was surprised because he should have realized in the first place that it was a bad idea.

ReplyDeleteHe reacts like he was disappointed in his creation. He regrets making his creation. My thoughts were "It's either you try again for improvement, or you'll realize that you are doing something that is extraordinary." Yes, I was surprised. It's because that he created it. He should have think about it before doing it.

ReplyDeleteVictor was frightened. He thought he could go against god and bring life back. He did not think of the faults and effects it would have caused. How i felt, was "well you better be careful what you wish for next time because just like now it'll come back and bite you in the butt."

ReplyDeleteVictors' creation horrifies him. He runs away into town trying to avoid this monster he has created into life, which makes him a whimp (Just Kiddin). I mean I would feel the same with Victor. If I created that weird looking creature I would feel terrified and scared too. I wouldn't even bother to check on it thats how scared I would be. :O
@Chad: Your right about how Victor didn't think of the effects that would happen when he created this creature but its not totally his fault. I mean give him a break all he wanted was to doscover/create something no can do or done. I give Victor props because thats like a hard work there. If you were Victor you would probably do the same (Just sayin') Ha, and your response is pretty much nice, idk about the bite you in the butt part ?... Lol. But good work :)

ReplyDeleteVictor was really scared and he ran into his room and fell asleep. Victor woke up and saw him standing with his arms out and ran to his friend Henry. I find that really funnny hahahah

ReplyDeleteOf course Victor was frightened at first, but after realizing what he had accomplished, he was amazed at himself. The fact that he turned pure theoretical thoughts to become truth is indeed astonishing. He knew that recreating the same neuro-electric pulse within the medulla oblangata would jump-start the bodies involuntary functions, thus causing the heart to begin pumping blood through the veins and for the lungs to begin inhaling oxygen. If I ever get the chance to attempt such a feat, I would do it just to have it recorded. I would also reanimate the individual to be one of intellectual pursuit rather than a "zombie". I would allow such a creation to live, but remained quarantined to a laboratory where I may perform more tests and at the same time allow him to study our society. However, if the individual reacts by beginning his new life with asking to be "put down", then I shall grant them so. Just because someone or something can be reanimated, does not mean it wants to.
@Lise: I suppose that is a normal reaction to such an event, however, try looking at the situation as a scientist. A lot of things would become more... analytical.

ReplyDeleteWhen he's creation came to life he was so frightened he ran into his room and hid under his sheets and feel asleep as he woke up frankenstein was standing right in front of him with his arms wide open. I Feel that why be afraid with something you ,yourself just created. Yes i was surprise about how frankenstein awoken.

ReplyDeleteVictor was horrified by his creation. He yearned to accomplish what had been done. Yet, he did not have the great satisfaction he expected. Instead, he was disgusted. I expected Victor to be overwhelmed with joy for having accomplished such a feat.
Victor was frightened. He was so scared. Honestly, I was surprised. If I worked so long on something, and actually accomplished it, I'd be thrilled. That wasn't the case here.

ReplyDeleteVictor was frighten by his creation. I think he reacted as anyone would. He didn't know what or who he created. Was I surprised about what ? Frankensteins awakening or Victors reaction ? I really wasn't surprised to the awakening, I mean he had to wake up at some point :); On victors reaction no, as i said earlier, I think he reacted as anyone would, well anyone sane.
