Victor is shocked by Clerval’’s death. Does Victor’’s reaction seem appropriate or do you think Victor should have anticipated the creature killing his friend? Explain your answer.
I guess he should have anticipated this since Frankenstien did say he was gonna bring pain to his love ones. I just didnt expect Frankenstien to get his Friends even. so ya.
I think Victor knew it was coming, but didn't think it would be right away. The death of Clerval was unexpected, and at the same time expected to happern. I guess the decision of putting that thought aside could have been the cause of his death one way or another. Its a sequence of events.... the consequences of Victors' actions are simply justified. He brought all this upon himself. I think he anticipated long enough.
Homework: Chapter 21 Victor should have expected this. He was even told by the monster that he would kill/hurt all his loved ones. Victor was just reacting how all people would if their best friend were to die, but at the same time he did bring this upon himself.
Homework: Ch.21 Well he should have known because his creation had warned him in advance. Yet! at the same time unexpected. And yes Victor could and should be emotional. Anyone that has lost a loved one would have or will do the sanme in his shoes.
Homework: Chapter 21 The reaction is natural. Victor knew it was coming. The monster already warned him from the minute they saw each other. Victor knows that his love ones will die. Thats why his reaction is odd. He should've cooperated from my opinion.
Victors really dumb not to expect the monster kill Clevral. The monster told him first of all. And it is entirely victor's fault. He created the monster, and failed to comply with its wishes. And that came with its consequences.\
I think it was appropriate. He knows that the monster killed someone to frame him. I really don't think that he knew the monster even KNEW Clerval had any relation to Victor. I would be DEVESTATED if MY creation killed TERESA. I wouldn't be able to deal.
@Resa: Why do you ALWAYS have to be so negative :P
Victor should have known that everyone that heloves and is friends with was in danger. He should have expected one of them getting hurt, rather than to ignore it and be surprised when a loved one got murdered.
