Victor tells his father, ““A thousand times would I have shed my own blood, drop by drop, to have saved their lives. . .”” (184) Do you think that Victor would have truly sacrificed his life for his friends and family? Why or why not?
I dont think he would because if he wanted to he would have tried harder to save Justines life. then again even if he did people would have thought he was crazy.
It's hard to say. Maybe at that moment he would agree to it, because it's that feeling of being all guilty and defensive in that kind of situation. He would say that just to satisfy his well being for at least taking initiative to take the blame. All in all, I really don't believe he would actually sacrifice himself. He is fully aware of what his creation is capable of doing. If he really wanted to save his friends, he should have tried to stop the creature even if his life was at stake. That is what it means to shed some blood, drop by drop. He's going to have to scream in agony for me to believe any word that he says!
@KyleG671: i think i agree on this one as well.... there must be something really wrong with Victor to have not done all he could've to save his friends, because it seems like its not enough!
Homework: Chapter 22 I thing he meant it at that time, but Victor is very confusing to be honest. He says that now but he didnt do a thing, but cry for Justine. He didnt even try to help prove her innocence. The least he could have done is got some facts to help save her. so im not completely sure about it.
Homework: Ch.22 Most likely Victor would die for his friends and family. We well know that he is dedicated to the people that he cares about. He would do anything for them as well. Just hope that he will get through this situation.
Homework: Chapter 22 This is difficult. But all I can say is that he can actually die for his family and friends. The monster wanted Victor as his last victim. But what if Victor gave his life from the very start? Would the monster continue to kill? hmm. I wonder. Thats just my saying.
I do not think he would have. He could have saved them ( well not William or Justine) but the others by shedding no blood, by simply creating another monster. He didn't even had the balls to stick up for Justine ! Victor is a coward. Ad its easier to say stuff, than actually do.
NO NO NO NO NO. If he can't even tell the truth to save Justine's life, what more the others ? I think if he really wanted to save them, he would have tried alot harder.

ReplyDelete@kyle we have the same thoughts :)
Victor wouldn't sacrifice his life. if he did then he would have done it long time ago and and all the people that he loved would still be alive

ReplyDelete@Resa: so true
I dont think he would, because look he didn't save justines so what makes you think he'll do it for his family.
