HOMEWORK: CHAPTER 23 – DUE 2/28

Evaluate Victor’s reaction to the creature’s actions. Does Victor rightly place blame where it is due? How culpable should Victor feel regarding the creature’s actions?

  1. Victor shouldn't blame anyone but himself. He started all the bad that is happening. It went so far... his beloved Elizabeth was a victim of his actions. Metaphorically speaking, even Frankensteins' actions are for Victor to identify as his own doing. I can't believe him.... you bring something into this world, your supposed to take repsonsibility for everything that your child is involved in. Now, he is suffering all on his own. People are dying because of him. I suggest Victor should decide on creating Frankensteins' mate a bit quicker than usual. That's all I have to say.

  2. Homework: Chapter 23
    Victor really did bring all this upon on himself. The fact remains is that it all started with him and his creating of the monster. For one the intention of the monster when he first saw him may have been frieghtening but at the same time it didnt show much intent on killing him and secondly the monster even says when he was watching that family in the earlier chapter that he just wanted to be cared for. So all this could have been avoided if the monster's "father" had not treated him so unjustly.

    @tani you always seem to say what im saying. Stop copying! haha

  3. Victor can blame no one but himself. when Victor created Frankenstien he shouldnt had been afraid because he's the one that made him. he should have tried to embrace him and accept him, if he didnt want a monster he should have tried to at least make the creature look good. ;)

    @ Chad and Tan: Great Response ^_^

  4. Homework: Ch.23
    Ok...ummm, Victor should have stopped the situation when he ran off scared. He should have realized the consequences. When he made Frankenstein he was so blind with excitement that he did not know that he would have to any situation. He should take on full responsibility for his creation's doings.

    @Kyle good job!

  6. Homework: Chapter 23
    All I can say is that it is all Victor's fault. It all started with his idea of creating a creature like that. As a result, he was scared of the creature and neglecting him was the worst part because it cost lives in the end. Victor can't make it right even when he had the chance.

    @Tanisha: hahaha. love your response.

  7. Victor caused everything. He should be in full blame. He created this mess, and brought everything upon himself. He is fully responsible for all of Frankenstein actions and his own.

    @tonisha good thinking !

  8. Everything is Victor's fault, he created all this disaster. If you're gonna create a monster, don't leave it alone and make it kill the people you love. He should have stayed and took care of it, but he didn't.

  9. I think that Vicor is to blame, completely. He was the one who started the creation and didn't have the guts to stop it. I think that he should have just stepped up and taken action when the monster came alive.

    @Keita: YOU DO BLOGS ?

  10. I think victor brought all this madness upon himself. He did nothing at all when he found out about the crimes the monster did.He should be the one to blame, because he is the one that created it, and should take full responsibility.

    @ everyone: I guess we all agree Victor should take the blame.
